This has been talked about in another thread....But anyway The Ultimate Avengers Collection is in 7.1 PCM (released April 24, 2007)

The supplements are encoded in MPEG-2 above 14Mbps to almost 30Mbps. I don't think that is 480p. The whole disc is high-def. I'll see what my TV says while playing the supplements.

It's nice that it has PCM 7.1 Surround, but I'm not much of fan of Tyler Perry plays or Movies. I'll pass.

She's on a blind date with him. The actor is Craig Robinson. He is also in the extras. I would love to see an entire film devoted to the character.

I reviewed it on DVDSpot. I am more into plot. If the PQ or SQ is fairly bad then I will note that too. They were not anything special but I have heard/seen worse.

I didn't like the movie.

*SPOILER ALERT*














A black guy who was going to be a basketball star goes to a white girls party. He gets coaxed into bed by her. The parents show up and the dad asks her while she is laying next to him if it was a rape. She rolls her eyes and then says yes. Black guy goes to prison for 6 years sentenced by a white judge; just "long enough to make sure he didn't have a basketball career. Later the charges are dismissed when the white chick recants. That plot device was a trip.

He goes out with a 100k/year lawyer who is not his type of girl because she is "cut from a white loaf". She agrees to help him get his kids back in court and also opens the legs for him. Uhh, yeah right. Oh and the judge who will decide if he gets the kids is also white! Oh the drama!!!

The film was crap. The acting was poor. The writing was bad. The direction was non-existant. The extras either looked into the camera or you could tell they knew the camera was there and were trying to consciously avoid making eye contact.

The scene I gave a link to above and one scene in the extras are the best parts of the movie.
