I saw Double Indemnity on July 21st
- about 25 people in the theater Unfortunately the first half was a little soft and sort of pink-ish The second half looked a lot better Audio was good all around It was great seeing it on the big screen Can't wait for more |

I've always avoided these special presentations because whenever I've seen trailers for them (and other live events, like concerts and operas), the trailers were of extremely poor visual quality. Regardless of the flaws, did you feel like this looked as good as a standard DCP or was it worse? I think most of these are not physical DCPs, but satellite feeds. Did it look like film or video?

I honestly couldn't tell if it was physical or not and I'd say it looked more like video but I'm no expert |

I was planning to see Psycho because I thought it was playing at a theater near me but it turned out they are not showing it.
![]() There is a theater really close to us and they never show the old movies. Once in a while this theater about 20 minutes away will show these screnings but unfortunately not Psycho. |

Saw a 2pm showing
Looked very similar to Double Indemnity A bit dark/crushed at times Sound was definitely not mono but sounded great Theater was 3/4 full Worth it just to see it on the "big" screen Next up, Dracula Wish it was a Dracula / Wolf Man double-feature ![]() |

Psycho was a great time and great to see it in theaters, our showing had about 20 to 25 people in.
Next up is the Dracula (1931) / Drácula (1931) Double Feature and I should be going to that one as well and looking forward to it. Also the Spanish version was filmed at night instead of the day and they had a different cast as well since it was filmed right after the English daytime version. |

Did anyone else's double feature of Dracula not show the Ben Mankiewicz intro and outro? After the Fathom Events preshow, the first film just started cold turkey, and there was no indication of how much time was going to pass between both films, so half the audience left while the other half waited in the dark. This is the first TCM screening I've been to that did that.
