Can anybody confirm whether the uk release carries the DTS-X soundtrack?

No it does not, it's a DTD HD Master.

What about the US version is it region free if yes,i do prefer to import the lionsgate one. Any clue?

the back cover lists everything except the commentary

The iTunes version is currently $4.99, and has the commentary. I think Ill get that.
