Can't reply or post in trading forum

Can anyone let me know why this is? I've got 13 posts, so it isn't the 10 post limit. I can understand a new post, but replies get a "you don't have access" type of error.

I believe you need to be a member for 30 days.

Is there a rules thread somewhere that states this? I've search all the rule threads I can find (which isn't all that easy) and haven't come up with this yet. I try to not ask questions like this unless I can't find an answer myself (after I've looked).

I don't believe it is stated in any place obvious. The restriction was enacted a few months back and I only know about it because I read a post where a moderator spoke about it:

I think it would be a great idea to stick that info and the info about needing 10 posts before being able to create new threads in some place prominent. Those are issues that come up constantly.

Thanks for this info. Just joined yesterday and couldn't work out why I posts on the trading forum weren't working. I will get to the 10 post count soon then wait out the other 29 days

I believe you need to wait 30 days to post in the trading forum. And have 10 posts to start a new thread. So, if you want to post a new thread in the trading forum, you'll probably need to meet both requirements.

I've posted in the giveways prior today, but today, I can't. Can't reply to any thread.
