Warner slimmed down the Blade Runner 5 disc case - Blu-ray Forum

Looks like Warner has re-released a slimmed down version of the 5 disc set.
Heres some pictures of the old one and new one side by side

I like it, its about half the size of the original one

I'm not sure which version I like better. The smaller one saves space, materials (better for mother earth) and should cut cost for Warner but will we see price reduction? Unlikely

No way. I'm assuming they just consolidated the extra features into maybe 2 or 3 disks?

No, it's all 5 discs in there. Even says so on the front.

Very nice. Looks like they may have used the same case they're using for Smallville.

GOOD COMPARISON!!! I looked at them side by side and yes they are the same.

Heres a comparison in the stack of other movies.
I took the slipcovers off of Terminator and Smallville for a better comparison

It was on sale at Best Buy several weeks ago for $14.99. Can't get much better than that. (I paid a LOT more than that when it originally came out.)

The smaller case and the non-holographic artwork sleeve. Too bad they decided to use paper and not retain the cool metallic sleeve.
