Just a warning. I ordered Out 1 from Amazon.fr because the listing here said it has English subs, but that's not the case. The upcoming US and UK releases will have them, but this version is not English friendly. Now it's going to cost me half of what the set cost to send it back, and Amazon won't cover it, since it doesn't say English on their site, only here.

I just received this set today from Amazon.fr and mine does have English subs, at least for the 13 hour version on blu-ray (that's all I've checked so far). When I put in the disc, it comes up with a screen that asks if I want the menu in French or English. If you choose "English", there will be a subtitle option. It doesn't say "English", just "On" or "Off". If you choose "On", then there will be English subtitles.

You're right! In fact all the blu-rays have an English option! I just assumed when it specifically wasn't mentioned under 'sub-titles' on the outer box (and French for hearing impaired IS), and it is mentioned on the US box, that they'd left it off this French edition. But I was wrong! ALL the blu-rays (at least, I haven't tried the DVDs yet) have English options.
