Does anyone know if there are any BD titles that are EX surround encoded?

I am curious to what is the BD HD audio version of 5.1 EX surround.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets BDs - all the additional audio tracks are encoded AC 5.1 EX.

Your statement is contradictory. If it is BD HD audio, then it cannot be 5.1 EX surround. EX surround is the lossy Dolby Digital with a matrixed rear channel. It is the same old Dolby Digital EX that has been around since 2001. It was developed by Dolby Labs and THX company. Read A Guide to Home Theater Audio Codecs.

For Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD, there is no need for a special "EX" matrix system.
If the studios want to present the soundtrack with a rear centre channel, they will just do it straight with a seperate and discrete channel altogether. Eg. Dolby TrueHD 7.1 or DTS-HD 7.1
The EX and ES systems were created during DVD's reign was because the DVD specification made it difficult to include extra channels just like that. The EX and ES systems were actually workarounds, rather than actual implementations.

To kind of build on this....

I am a complete noob to Blu-ray on the computer, but I will be heading off to college soon and will rely on a computer for movie playback. Is it possible to get HD audio from a computer? Do any sound cards out there support it?
