what is the agreed timeline amongst fans of the clone wars series and if possible the 2003 clone wars series as well?

They both fit into a roughly three year period between Episode II and Episode III, which is about 20 years prior to Star Wars (Episode IV).

Actually, the first Clone Wars cartoon that was done by Tartakovsky was eliminated from continuity by Lucas when the CGI series began production. Even characters that were exclusive to that show were removed from the Star Wars encyclopedia. As such, it doesn't fit in the timeline at all because it no longer exists.

They are two separate entities. The CGI film and series were considered a reboot of the previous hand-drawn cartoon.

It jumps around a lot. I recall an interview with David Filoni, the show runner, that there really isn't meant to be a set chronological order to the events in the series. The story arcs are meant to be "snapshots" of these epic battles that took place during The Clone Wars. There are some moments in the show that reference other events that occurred in the series and I know the 2008 film isn't considered the beginning.

I'm still quite irritated that Disney pulled the plug on this. A lot was left open and I'm hoping

makes an appearance in one of the new films just to see what happened with that character.

yeah but fans have issues with that list like the clovis arc should be season 5 etc. there was chronological order list on theforce.net forums that fixed the order but i can't seem to find it anymore. it might still be on there but it's now buried in the forum if you have a link please share.

That doesn't make sense. The movie introduces Ashoka to Anakin, so it has to be the beginning of the show.

Are the BDs put in chronological order?

They are not, they are in air date order.

There are at least two episodes, 1.16 and 2.16 that are set prior to the film and set up the Battle of Christophosis.

Just saw this on the back of her newest action figure. This gives me hope that she may pop up in live-action form. That'd be amazing.
