Is this movie really as bad as everyone is saying?I'm curious to see this. I mean it can't be that bad, can it? Nothing is bad as Lady in the water. Now that's a terrible movie. Anyways, I'm curious to see this.

I actually liked it quite a bit. All of the little things added in the movie and the reasons behind everything happening was pretty neat.

It's not bad. A strong 6/10. Wouldn't purchase it, but it's worth seeing if you've the patience for it. Acting is relatively wooden, but the story is intriguing, the pacing is slow, but intentionally so, and the cinematography - by Tak Fujimoto no less - is excellent. The film will probably look very striking on Blu-ray. For that reason alone I may revisit it

Yeah id give it a small 7/10! I really liked it! I have no idea why people hate this so bad..? Mark Wahlberg acts terrible? No, he acted the part perfectly, in my opinion! People hated the anding, but I dont no why.. It is not like the usual Hollywood movie, but I think it works way better than most newer horror/thriller movies!

No, it isn't. It's definately better than Lady.

It's an either you like it or you don't movie. Personally, I enjoyed it. It's worth a watch if you have nothing to do on a friday night....or any night for that matter.

I just really don't want to waste money on one of his movies. Lady in the Water was so disappointing that I don't want to spend anything on his stuff unless it's better

I don't blame you...Signs was disappointing, the village was par, Lady in the Water garbage...however this was decent. If your that sketchy about it just rent it.

Yeah The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable were awesome. The rest were......

i loved this film.
i think its one of those movies that was greatly marketed in false advertisement.

which is why I think people had a hard time accepting it.
it's not a horror film, its not scary, and nothing is really happening most of the time.

def give it a rent, it's different.
i pre-ordered mine at work and I should have in about a week or so.
