WOW!!! I was looking forward to this!
Let's hope it's not the cropped 4:3!

By the way, I have a question:
Why no Disney Club Exclusive Bluray gets a review here?

I'm guessing they don't send out review copies.

Yes, I've figured that out, but I was wondering, isn't ANYONE from the various reviewers here interested in any of these BLurays so that he would buy it and therefore be able to review it?

A reviewer here would have to be willing to have a DMC membership in order to buy these for themselves, in order to review.

Having a DMC membership runs you about on average $70-90 for 9-11 Disney BD's, depending how you do it.
Only other option would be to buy it from a reseller on a 3rd party site, which never makes sense to do, since their price gouging is meant to cut the cost of their own memberships in half (or more) usually.

One of my favorite Disney live action movies. Can't wait for Disney to release The Black Hole, The Watcher in the Woods, Candleshoe, The Cat from Outer Space, Unidentified Flying Oddball and so many other of the great movies I grew up with on Bluray.

I'll gladly take all those and Condorman & Freaky Friday.
There's no reason that we won't see all these if their intention is to continue with these exclusives

What's weird is that Region 2 European DVDs are also 4:3 but are properly framed. Whereas the US DVD is 4:3 but blown up and cropped on the sides. That transfer on the US disc was panned-and-scanned for no good reason!

I believe the HD prints that have aired on HDNet Movies are 16:9 so there shouldn't be an issue either way.

Glad Disney is still putting out their old live action movies. Too bad though that they stopped including slip covers with them like they did with the first few releases.

Considering they just released that as a DVD double feature doesn't bode well for it coming out on blu ray if they didn't do it at the same time. Also consider that you could buy an HD digital copy of Blackbeard's Ghost for awhile from Amazon while the Boogedy titles are still only offered in SD (same with Condorman). Boogedy are a couple titles I've been wanting for a long while now so I'm hoping I'll be proved wrong.

Speaking of which, The Black Hole, Candleshoe, The Cat From Outer Space, Freaky Friday and Unidentified Flying Oddball are also available as HD digital on Amazon so I'd imagine some of these will be coming out in the next year or two.

I was a bit bummed when Boogedy was DVD only. Maybe with enough talk about it we can get Disney to invest in a few blurays.

Ok thanks, I've never bought any of their releases, being overseas they cost a good deal more, so only going for my absolute favorites from ebay or somewhere. Their exclusive to North America sold directly, from what I know.
