JB HI-FI : Warning for International Customers

jb hi fi is charging gst tax on orders placed by international customers even though the Australian gov website say it should not charge tax to international customers.

when I first contacted there c/s they refused to refund me the gst saying that they have to charge it to everyone. when I looked up the info on there gov site it said other wise I showed them this info and requested they have a manger contact me. a few days went by and they agreed to refund the gst to me and said they would look into fixing there website so it wont charge gst for customers outside Australia.

anyone who has placed orders there who don't live there should contact there c/s and request a refund if they tell u they cant request they escalate the issue.

to see how much u were charge go into your order and under were it shows the total it will say how much gst was charged.
