Does anyone's Digital Copy work for Run, Fat Boy, Run? - Blu-ray Forum

So got Run, Fat Boy, Run today and when I tried to load the Digital Copy to my PC (yes I realize it only works on PC) but it will not allow me to download it. The directions tells you to click an executable if it doesn't load immediately, well when browsing through the disc there is no .exe

Flawed disc? random messed up disc?

Also, what about Risky Business? Is that PC only too? Blow ended up working for iTunes, I was shocked.

Just DLed my Blow digital copy and it works perfectly...even the ipod transfer

Are you sure you enter the authorization code correctly?

Here's a list....we just had a thread similar to this. Risky Business is NOT compatible with Mac computers or Ipod portable media players. They are "PlaysForSure" compatible-only.

I had no problem loading blow in iTunes, I am talking about the Run, Fat Boy, Run Digital Copy, it doesn't give me an option to enter a code.

wont allow me to enter an authorization code all i can do is play the disc. When i put in the blow disc, it opened up the choose itunes or windows version.

yup, my copy does not work and is missing the special features file.

how worthless!

wait. it is a regular dvd and actually works as a regular dvd!

so yeah, it wont play on your computer but it will play on your standalone!

problem fixed!

whoaaa!! this is the first time I've seen something like this happen. the Run Fat Boy Run Digital copy is not a standard PC or Ipod digital copy but a full retail version of the DVD!!!! runs in a standard DVD player just fine. I analyzed the .vob's with a a decryptor and there is no PC or Ipod/etc.. digital copy on the disc. It just starts up with the menu and is the DVD. now I can live with that kinda digital copy instead of the DRM laden wmv files.

lol since when cant computer's with DVD drives not have the ability to play DVD movies?

But that's not a digital copy, that's a DVD movie. Digital copies are made for portable media players, so this move makes no sense...

Well, it's labeled as a Digital copy on the disc too. My suspicion is that someone boned up and mis printed the Digital copy onto the Regular DVD and included that instead. Most likely will be taken care of in the next printing

Well, it's better than a digital copy IMO. You get the DVD for all the stuff you can use that for like the car dvd player etc. and then it's brainless to rip and encode a dvd for whatever device you have without worrying if it won't play on an Ipod etc...

Sorry to dig this up.

Got a copy of this and was stumped as to why it would not work. Did some Googling and this thread is the first one to show up. Pretty funny they misprinted the discs. Wonder how many digital copy discs made it into DVD cases??

just read the post below. thank goodness. i was totally confused when i browsed the digital copy; i was thinking that it looked like the files for a standard dvd, i couldn't find any of the executables described in any of the instructions. up side is, handbrake is able to rip the disc because there is no drm protection on it.
