Default Definitive Technology Speakers

Am I the only one that uses Definitive speakers? I love mine, and just upgraded to new ones through our local premium home theater store. I havent seen anyone else have them, and just wondered if anyone else enjoys them like I do.

Def Techs are great, Bipolar does the trick , try 2004 or 2006 BP,s for surround speakers, outstanding !!! It even fills in the rear no need for 7.1

Default I love mine!

I just recently got a combo pro cinema 800/1000 setup for my TV room and am amazed with these speakers. This is my second set from Definitive. I bought a pair of bipolar towers in '96 which I use for my stereo system and enjoy immensely. I live in Japan and have very small rooms so I've never really enjoyed the towers to the fullest, that is to say in a nice room where I could spread these out more than they are now.

I want some definitives. I was looking at getting this setup, what do you guys think?

(2) BP7006BLA's
(1) procent1000LA's
(2) MYTHOSGEMB's

I work at BB, so I get like 50% off these babies. I've heard them and I think they are kick ass for home theater. I've heard they aren't that great for music only, but I rarely do that and I'm sure I wouldn't complain anyways.

Before we bought our Martin Logans we considered those. They have a fantastic sound and being bi polar fills up the room nicely.

Plus you can get away with not adding a sub, they have great bass to them

I have nothing but love for mine….I just put in a pair of UIW 65’s for my 7.1 rear speakers. The only thing I don’t like about them is painting them to match the wall. Any one ever tried painting a speaker grill with latex wall paint that is diluted to 1:1 so it would pass through an arousal sprayer, not fun. (Enamel wouldn’t spray) But when all said and done the in-walls’ sound exactly like my ProMonitor 1000’s and Mythos Eight center. The sound is great but if I could do it over I would get all In-walls now that I am sold on the sound quality of them. I went with Def Tech because they the best Freq. Response for the price and were 4-8 ohms. When you are trying to put 7 matching speakers in a room with limited spousal approval and budget these were a no brainier.

Default Def Tech's

They are one of best values out there for the money. Depending on your room & ear. Bi-polar, and twin built in subs really makes for a great soundfield. I have YET to have a customer tell me did not love them. Team them up with a Pioneer Elite, Denon receiver, and your Blu-ray player. Nothing but A/V heaven.
Even an Pro 600 system(around $600.00) will smoke the best that Bose has to offer, as we say: No highs, no lows, it must be Bose!

We have them at our store in San Diego Mission Valley, yes. I don't know about other stores though.

the only home theater speakers i buy. 10 year old bp2000s that i cant believe still sound soooo good. clr2000 center channel and 4 bpvx/p rear satellites with built in powered subs . the most reliable and indestructible speakers around. worth more then they sell for! IMO
