Default DivX support

Just wondering? Will any of the blu-ray players support DivX or does the MPEG-4 AVC Codec include the DivX codecs?

If it doesn't then will it be firmwre upgradeable? I have some movies in DivX and it would be nice to watch them. Or even other codecs.

They support DVD though, so 1+1=2. I mean if they support DVD then they probably support DivX also.

PS. I dont own a next gen DVD player yet, so my statement could be false.

Divx requires a special codec that I doubt they paid to put in there players. Many standard dvd players don't support divx so its unlikely that a new next generation hd dvd player or blu ray player will support it simply bewcuase they won't have wanted to engineer in the codec to be able to play divx. not to mention most divx stuff doesn't look that great nad is really there as a convience feature.
