Default TBS' "Angie Tribeca" (Season 2)

Angie Tribeca is a comedy television series created by Steve Carell and Nancy Walls Carell.

The series, a satire of police procedural shows, stars Rashida Jones.

Angie Tribeca premiered on a 25-hour 10-episode marathon on January 17-18, 2016. Additionally, TBS has renewed the series for a second season.

The series follows Angie Tribeca, a 10-year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department's elite RHCU (Really Heinous Crimes Unit).

Guest stars include Lisa Kudrow, James Franco, Adam Scott, Sarah Chalke, Jeff Dunham, John Michael Higgins, Keegan-Michael Key, Bill Murray, and many more.

I watched the first 2 episodes last night. I thought there was some funny parts, but at times it just seemed like an extended SNL sketch. You can definitely see it's an homage to Police Squad/The Naked Gun. I didn't like how blatant the product placement was but that's the way a lot of shows are now. I'll finish the first season eventually, but I won't be binge watching it.

Cracked me up. It's really dumb, but it was cracking me up. I showed my kids the barfing rookie's greatest hits last night and they thought it was pretty funny. I'll definitely be around for season 2.

The jab at product placement was pretty funny. Each time they entered or exited the vehicle it was a different Ford and the text on the bottom got bigger and bigger.

I bet there's a lot of stuff you can pick up on on a rewatch.

I am trying my hardest to like this simply because I love Rashida Jones, but I'm about five episodes in and I think it's a pretty stupid show. Not stupid funny, just stupid.

I watched the first episode on Hulu yesterday. I'm not sure about this one... It seems just a tad bit too silly for me. But I'll probably give it a few more episodes.

season 1 was often too stupid for it's own good, they took it more into idiotic territory, I'd have probably given up on it if I didn't love Rashida Jones and if the whole season didn't air that one day lol The first three episodes of season 2 seems to have toned it down a lot to just being silly and it's more watchable.
