I would put up a poll but don't know how to. I realize there's another thread on this but we need more threads that make more sense than just replying with foolish opinions. In this thread, please state your responses with quality opinions and elaborate on why this particular movie is better than the other. This topic includes everything from movies, toys, games, etc.

This goes for all ages. State your case on why the older Star Wars is better than the other or vice versa. With the newer technology these days, how did it affect the older generation or vice versa.
This is the battle of bell bottoms vs. baggy pants.

You should also ask people to state their age. I've found that many people who were old enough to watch one of the original trilogy in the theater will prefer Star Wars while those born after prefer LotR.

You may also want to be more specific as to what we are including in the discussion.

Examples: All Star Wars or All Lord of the Rings.

Are we including books, video games, toys, or just the movies?

Are we including all the movies?
original Star Wars trilogy?
Pre-Quil Star Wars trilogy?
Star Wars Ewok movies (Ewok Adventure and Battle for Endor)?
Star Wars Holiday Special?
