I thought they were doing away with the DC page flip logo on the front?? I mean, I know it was at the bottom of the previous steelbooks, but I thought they were getting rid of it all together.
Even though I have these all I have not watched a single one but I do like the art so I will probably get this on release day...one of these days I guess I can sit down and watch them (certain ones anyway ![]() |

Unless people complain a lot then I doubt it. Kind of how they complained about the BB figurines and now they are everywhere. When they did that I stopped buying them. Shame as that is what made it fun. Go and get a figurine from BB and then the SB from Target. Now I really don't even bother with either that much. I do like the SB's though and have often thought about selling the ones I have. Not only that but the figurines now suck. They aren't as nice as the older ones from BB.

I'm with Neoz on this - the hunting and rarity makes it more fun. I have a near complete set (minus Dark Knight Returns), that are really fun to just look at!

They are nice and I don't mean overloading stores with them like Lucy or anything but getting 1 steel in at a Target that services an entire city with the next closest being an hour drive away is pretty ridiculous. Honestly 2-3 would be perfectly fine (I know of only 1 other person who goes there at opening for the steel).

Oh I feel you on that. I went to a store and they had 3. I mean common that really isn't fair to people that are really trying to buy them to enjoy and not scalp them. I think they should at least offer 10 or 15 to make it someone more fair to those that can't get in right away. Then again Target doesn't seem to care how many are being sold like BB and would probably allow a neckbeard to get all 10. ![]() Quote:

I'm amazed it's gone this long! I keep my fingers crossed for each new release!
As a comic book geek, I'm tickled with all the widespread success comics have had....FNALLY....crossing over to mainstream cinema & TV. It wasn't long ago, that most films based on comic book source material were of the laughing stock variety. The massive success of Marvel with the Avengers/solo films/TV shows have really pulled it off. With DC and the Justice League/solo films/TV shows following suit. I used to love reading crossover events that spanned several comic lines, now I can watch on film/tv! A comic book renaissance! ![]() |
