This game is basically the same gameplay style and graphics style of the old NES games. Think 8 bit game.

I've heard it's a lot of fun, it was released on the Wii earlier this week. I believe it is also slated for XBLA release but not sure if that has happened... probably whenever XBLA updates get released (i.e. Wii = Monday, PSN = Thursday).

Just go download the demo. It's out now on PSN.

Graphic looks very much like the Nintendo version.

Did anybody catch the news lady at the beginning? It's Chun Li from Street Figther! LoL

Wii and PSN versions are already out. XBLA gets it next week.

The game is completely 8-bit, down to the music and graphics.

No charge shot, no slide.

Hell, even in the game, you can even choose to have the character sprites flicker when hit. It just goes to show how much Capcom want to have this game back in time.

This game is actually pretty fun. It definately stays true to the Original 8-Bit style.

The presentation would be more polished if they didn't switch between the chunky pixel graphics for the game and menu and high res graphics for the manual and stuff. Sure they can fit more on a page but it's not consistent.

Still, not bad as some of these retro games that are even given an ugly high res main menu with cheesy looking artwork.

Bought this for my Wii. I had to keep in on the Nintendo platform. Felt wrong on any other console. I also am not fond of the PS3 controller.

It's pretty fun. Have to get used to some things. Even has that 8bit flicker. Lol. Love it!

Man... does this take me back to my friendless childhood!

I already have the game on my 'Mega Man Anniversary Collection' PS2 disc, so I won't be d/loading it. However, for those gamers of my generation, this will be a must have!!! Especially if you have kids! You can give them the experience of where you started becoming obsessed with the hobby of video gaming.

Wow.... Didn't the charge shot and slide both originate in Mega Man 3? I'm surprised they took it THAT far back, especially since many people regard MM3 as the best of the series, before they started making all these psuedo-villains that always either turned out to be Dr. Wiley, or fully controlled by Wiley.... Some *do* like MM2 more than 3, though, what with the tough Wiley/Alien final boss.... Maybe because of the charge shot, MM3 was the first one I was able to beat without a GameGenie cheat I'd probably be lost without the hold-3-seconds-then-release aspect of the game.

I know, eh? It seems that the skill set for 2D scroller gaming is a dying artform. Hopefully 'LittleBigPlanet' will "get me back on the bicycle."

Slide debuted in MM3. Charge shot didn't come along until MM4.

Also, when they introduced charge shot, they increased the invincibility time of bosses' hit stun, so MM2 and 3 are actually easier because you can just stand right next to the boss and jam on the button to do massive damage.

I can't believe I used to call myself a Mega Man veteran. This game is hard and I suck at it. Don't get me wrong though, it's PHENOMENAL. I downloaded it on the Wii for Nintendo purposes and the controller is obviously the most ideal. Screen flicker is a great feature for nostalgia.

I did not buy this game for nostalgia though. I still play Mega Mans regularly, whether it be on ROMs, the original NES cartridges, or the Anniversary Collections that I have. Still though, it's great to have a new fun challenge that I haven't beaten dozens of times in my life yet.

Highly recommended to anyone seeking a great platforming challenge. Speaking of challenge, the challenges in the game are RIDICULOUS. One of them is literally beat the whole game without taking any damage. I'll leave that untouched, its impossible for me right now until I memorize every pattern in the game (which I will not be doing haha).

Get this game, the blue bomber is back in 8 bit glory!

The way they did the artwork with mega man looking more real..and dr wiley having the half android face looked cool...they should make a game like that but with uncharted graphics...

I think it sucks that you get far and when you die it takes you back to the very beginning of the stage....the game was ok...when i turned it off and put a ps3 game in i felt alot better.

Kinda reminds me of when i see my NES in the garage...Yeah i plug it in and play a couple old games for 30 minutes or so...Then i unplug it and put it back in the garage for a year or 2.

HD and the newer games have spoiled me.

This is the worst 10$ I ever spent in my life. Why o Why did I not download the demo? This game is practically unplayable for me.
