Yeah, I know what you mean. Like the article said, they're really just doing it to coincide with the release of "Step Brothers" on Blu-ray. Much like how Sony is double-dipping Casino Royale to prepare for Quantum of Solace this November. And even though I have the original Blu-ray release of Casino Royale, I still might add the new edition of CR next to the original because of the Bond trivia game feature.

Stranger Than Fiction Special Edition... the article doesn't state any difference between this and the current version out now.

Guess that will be announced closer to the release date.
But I never got around to buying the original release either, so I'll probably wait for the special edition too.

The original already has a bunch of nice special features. Dunno what else they could add.

There were a few complaints about the image quality on the first one (MPEG2), so maybe thats getting recompress this time around also.
