Loved the series and funny enough I liked the Farrelly bros film. Apart from the weird safety / chest flex bit at the end. It's still not available on Blu in the UK!?! Not sure about this tho. Prequels don't alway work out you see, cough...Star Wars...cough...Dumb and dumber......Etc....cough......

Actually, I don't think it is. They shouldn't bring back the Stooges (even though they already did) because their looks and personalities are so indelibly implanted in our minds and also because they were of a different time - regardless of when the shorts and films were made, they're products of the Depression.

But if they're going to bring them back at all, bringing them back as kids is almost a good idea because we don't know what they were like as kids and they don't have to look exactly like Moe, Jerry or Shemp Howard or Larry Fine.

The problem is that in today's world, if it's going to truly be a "family" film, you can't have the violent slapstick - in fact you probably can't have any. So what, exactly, are the Stooges going to do?

They might have scrapped what they had back then and go for a rewrite/recast maybe. Not a stooge fan so I don't follow news to closely.

Ugh...I enjoyed the Three Stooges movie from 2012, and was hoping to see those three reprise their roles.

So they're going to get the band back together?

Or they're going to start an act, The Three Stooges, who do a show and raise money to save it?
