It's alright so far. I'm angry at that level where I gotta shoot the arrows.....I have a feeling I might as well dig in cause I'm gonna be in that tree for a WHILE. lol

I just beat this game. I loved it! At the end is very hard to kill Bohan. Anyway, back to the arrow, you have to press and hold x then tilt with the sixaxis to aim the target.

If it's easier, you can use the directional buttons/analog stick (I forgot which) instead of tilting the controller.

I remember figuring that out later on, and realizing it would have been easier doing it that way all along.

This was a year ago, so I don't remember if you have to change a setting or not, but good luck.

Probably my favorite PS3 game but I haven't finished it after getting stuck in one of the sections. I do pretty well shooting the arrows when there is a lot of distance although it did take a bit to get the hang of it. Shooting at close range though, is basically where I'm stuck. I just haven't gotten the hang of that. Hopefully I'll get past that at some point but I did download a save game just in case.

I was thinking about getting this game..

I was watching a little kid play it at game stop and the graphics looked nice.

All i seen was the chick with the sword...and like 5 guys and they just kept swingin swords for like 10 minutes lol...i browsed around came back and it was the same scene same guys but one was dead and they still was swinging swords over and over....

cutting to the chase....Is this game very repetative or a pretty good game...because i was thinking of buying this or assasins creed...which that game was put down for being repetative also......

Oh well. lol, not like anybody HASNT played this game yet.
But on topic, Bohan wasnt really as hard to kill as people think he was. It just took at least 100 hours to do it. And if you died (which you did), you would need to start over...

God that fight was annoying.

That was one of my favorite games once I got into it. Once you get used to the after touch boards, you are going to LOVE them.

I went from hoping I'd just hit a guy to winging dudes in the left nut at a thousand yards!!!

I was no good at all with the combos. I think if you take the time to get the combos down, you will probably get more out of the game, but I'm living proof that you can button mash and get through it...my score blew though.

Anyway...enjoy and while there very well may be a Heavenly Sword thread, there is no "I just got this game no Dreaming in Blu just got Heavenly Sword Today!!!" thread, so you are alright in my book.

You'll pick up the controls eventually, they're not that hard. I beat the game, and I'm not a huge gamer The storyline, acting, and graphic are amazing. The gameplay is fun but short. To BirdmanJr, I've never played Assasin's Creed, but I'd give Heavenly Sword a rent. It doesn't take much time at all to beat.

Yeah I got past that once I realized that plugging my controller into the cable allowed me to do the aftertouch thing.

I wish the cable didn't have to be plugged in.

Guess I need to get a longer cable (no innuendo ladies!)

Annnnnnnnyway.

I got past that, and got past the initial catapult stage. Went a bit farther and then stopped for the evening.

Not sure where I'm at but I turned the wheel and went through the gate, and then I killed that one dude who hit the gong. Went past that awhile, killed some more baddies and got to a checkpoint where it said I had completed a section, so...*shrugs*

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, but you don't need a USB cable plugged into your controller to use SIXAXIS tilt control in any PS3 game.

the arrows werent that bad its the canonballs you had to shoot in a time limit that pissed me off about the game
