Didn't this film just premiere at Sundance? So like, unless you were one of the very small few in Park City, it's going to be a very long time until any of us regular folk can see this.

Amazon picked up worldwide (I think?) rights so we should be seeing it very soon (Love and Friendship got a May date just days after Amazon picked it up and Lionsgate signed on for domestic distribution).

Elevated by performances from two of the most talented actors working today, Complete Unknown still manages to fall short with a meandering story that seemingly goes nowhere. A disappointing third feature from writer-director Joshua Marston, who is unable to recapture the raw emotion of his debut film. Not Recommended.

I haven't seen the trailer, but I'm very glad I saw this in theaters. It's been a while since I saw Maria Full of Grace, but this is easily much stronger than his last film. This is a gorgeous, sometimes ambiguous film that I was hugely immersed by even as the seems were plainly visible (especially during the last act.

I'm definitely buying the blu down the road.
