Just bought Heavenly Sword today....

Tough choice. Assassin's Creed is repetitive but it is half the price. And even if the fights were repetitive I still enjoyed the animations to the end. Heavenly Sword isn't repetitive but it just doesn't have enough length to be worth $60. Even though the whole ride through the game, short as it may be, is quite fun.

If I were you I would just rent both (or one) and save my money for the ton of new games coming out next month.

Heavenly sword had a much better storyline and was funner all around than Assassin's Creed. Assassin's Creed was longer, but that was a dubious distinction given the comparative strengths in gameplay and story.

I haven't played in a while, i'm stuck where you have to fight one of the bosses in the bird cage thing. The dude with swords for wings. Any tips anyone?

I just got to Chapter 2 but on Chapter one I only got two out of three lit up glyphs. Weird.

take a brake I got stuck there and then bought an other game and just restarted Heavenly sword and then beat him the second time, the trick is to that when he shoots you really need to return the volley, if you get him with one of his golden throws his life goes down a lot (at first I was trying to avoid them, then block them but fighting back is the only way, normal hits just don’t make enough damage), also when he multiplies use the roll to evade and go near his clones and then hit them and try and make them spread out, the more there are the slower they are (as if he controls all of them at the same time so they are slower)

i just changed the button setup so i could use the sticks to control the arrows/cannonballs etc.

No, his controller is fine. Simply when you disconnect the USB charging cable press the PS button on the controller again. The controller will acquire a radio channel, or "register" in other words. The guys did not mean to say there was a one time initial registration necessary for the controller. You need to do this any time going from a wired to wireless control mode.

Actually when I unplug the cable it puts a brief message saying that the sixxaxis isn't detected.

But I still have sixxaxis control.

I've been using the Kai character and moving the controller to guide the arrows.

I'm REALLY liking the aftertouch aspect of this game.

So far I just beat Chapter 2 (and Whiptail). Just got to Chapter 3.

BTW: I just plugged it into the internet and it's downloading an update for Heavenly Sword. Upgrading to 1.3 or something.
