Well I'm going to give it a chance as I hope they realize they need it to be less like Ultimate Spiderman and more like Avengers EMH...at least that is what I'm hoping.

Foxtel here has aired the first 4 episodes and while it's a good show, the constant changing of aspect ratio is really off-putting.

Disney XD has ordered new seasons of its toon block featuring a rather well-known webslinger and superhero team. The cable net picked up Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man vs. The Sinister 6, featuring the arachnoid crimefighter taking the unified supervillains, and Marvel’s Avengers: Ultron Revolution, in which Captain America, Iron Man and company battle a vengeful Ultron and also encounter other classic comic-book baddies. It’s the fourth season for Ultimate Spider-Man and third for The Avengers.

Next year will see the Avengers shocked by the return of Ultron and also encounter new threats from the likes Baron Marvel's Avengers Disney XDZemo, the Masters of Evil, the Inhumans, and the futuristic Kang the Conqueror. They’ll need help from Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man and Ms. Marvel if they hope to survive an all-out Marvel super hero Civil War. The Avengers voice cast includes Adrian Pasdar as Iron Man, Fred Tatasciore as Hulk, Roger Craig Smith as Captain America, Travis Willingham as Thor, Troy Baker as Hawkeye, Laura Bailey as Black Widow and Bumper Robinson as Falcon.

“In these new animated seasons we are looking forward to even higher stakes, bigger threats and the trademark quality storytelling that Marvel is famous for,” said Marc Buhaj, Disney XD’s SVP Programming and General Manager.

This show would have almost certainly hit Blu-ray if anyone but Disney owned it.

I thought the first half of the season was very good, they used the Squadron Supreme as villains. I don't like Hulk's personality that much on this show. He's never Bruce Banner and they've run the same tired jokes with the Hulk into the ground.

Really enjoying this. Felt like no Avengers show would ever replace Earth's Mightiest Heroes for me but unlike some of the other iffy Marvel toons out right now, this one seems to have an actual budget behind it.

I enjoy this show too... It's not nearly as good as EMH but it isn't as lame as Avengers: United they stand. I'm looking forward to the ultron centric season 3.

Is there any chance they'll release this show on blu-ray? I'd like to have both AA and Ultimate Spider-Man on blu ray. But it doesn't look like they have any plans for either.
