I hope someday they can make one of these movies where the poorly written "human" characters are not the focus.

Does Michael Bay try to beat the record of sequels the fast and furious franchise is trying to set?

Only the first Transformers is good because it was new, 2, 3 & 4 sucked, big time! Hopefully they're going to sink money and stop it before they reach 7, the only good thing about it is that these movie cost a lot so if they don't pay off they will stop. (hopefully)

I will not pay to see this disaster I gave Michael Bay a chance for 3 sequels but now I'm done.

"don't pay off"??

the 1st movie made the least......$709 million. each one has earned more than the last.

there's the answer to the question "why?"

Oh great, we can 'look forward to' Transformers 27 in 2043 then.

Why not get crazy with it and let Wes Anderson direct?

He'd be a much better choice than Michael Bay but sadly Michael Bay will probably always direct these films.

I will never understand why someone would complain about a particular movie being made. Unless you're a paid critic you don't have to go see it. Just ignore it, go see something you do have an interest in.

For instance, I had no interest in Star Wars, so I didn't go see it. It's not as if I'm angry it exists or anything.

Also, and this isn't directed at anyone specifically, but I get the feeling that there are a lot of people on this site who not make good business men. These are businesses. They exist to make money. If a franchise is making money -- which the Transformers franchise has been -- it would be malfeasance to stop making them just "because." I mean, if you're going to mad at someone, be mad at the people who keep filling theaters and making it a profitable franchise.

Tell that to Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis.

Well for one thing, none of the stars of Transformers are suffering from Parkinson's disease. For another, you can't compare Transformers to a series that ended in 1990. Nor can you compare those filmmakers to Michael Bay. Transformers and Michael Bay are the living incarnation of current-state Hollywood.

There's no way Bay can do 6 and 7 with the timeframe they've given. So, for once, I think we can actually say 5 will be his last movie in the series, and actually mean it.

People never learn...
The review are getting worst after each sequels and they set new records each time, this is ridiculous. I probably expect too much of people, which is to learn.

Not forever, but he'll retain producing credit on future movies and will definitely have influence. Much as I like Bay, he's become stale with these movies and needs to move on to other things.

Agreed. Judging by the TMNT series, his producing credit is the same as him directing so that doesn't bode well for the detractors

Correct - same with Superhero films which have reached the "Ad-nauseum" stage as bad as anything at this point.

We actually found the first XFormers halfway decent but my goodness the rest of the franchises entires are lousy. Cant imagine this next film being any good.
