This would be so great on blu, another that I am surprised has not made the transfer yet.

This is a great film that would be beautiful on Blu-ray. Too bad the sequel was horrible. The TV series though was a worthy successor.

Ya know....I kept hearing this movie was so good etc. So I hit it up on netflix and I wasn't impressed. Oh well.

Yeah some great cinematography, and I didnt know there was a sequel unless you are refering to City Of Men...which I still have not seen :/

I suppose it was "good" in that it was non-Hollywood and realistic. But I didn't feel excited watching a movie about life in a ghetto.

A more in-depth look at essentially the same thing. I have watched it too. I think that anyone would enjoy it if they enjoyed the movie and not enjoy it if they did not like the movie. I watched it and found that I did like some of the later episodes but not too many of the earlier ones. The earlier ones focused more on drug gangs and the later ones more on a love affair.

By the way there is a new City of Men movie but I have not see it
