J/w if anyone else saw the previews on casino royal that showed spider-man 2 and other movies that are coming to blu-ray..

Desperado
Once Upon a Time in Mexico
Charlies Angles 1&2

Just thought i'd mention it since none of those are on the coming soon list

The most interesting trailer shown in the previews on Casino Royale BD is Lawrence of Arabia. Can't wait for that one.

This chase scene can't hold a candle to Bullitt's chase.

I almost wish LoA was coming to HD DVD. That way it would be painfully glaring on how 30GB can't handle a 3 and a half hour movie to full spec.

I don't think 50GB can either, not a movie like lawrence

I pray it's split across at least an additional BD-25

It beats BB2 because it's real, not computer. People actually drove the car. Computer effects in any chase scene automatically knock it down a peg for me. Chase scenes now must be set in space, because they all disobey the laws of physics when applied to the surface of the Earth.

The one in the beginning where he gets mad about one too many people getting in the car, which would put it overweight for the job, then somehow is able to pop a wheelie and jump over the bridge guard rail with no ramp?! That one?! If there's one thing in movies I just can't take, it's fake chase scenes. I turned off The Transporter when the car did that. If it could do that, it might as well been able to fly.

Not trying to attack or offend anyone here, but like I said, I'm a bit of a stickler for chase scenes, and they are one thing computers have just completely ruined.

I think my favourite chase scene is the one in the original version of The Italian Job (with Michael Caine and co). Those in The Driver are pretty cool too.

If you like good car chase scenes, check out the one from Ronin, and also a limited production movie from the 70's called Rendezvous.

All of Michael Bay's movies need to be out on blu ray, regardless of how crappy people think he is the guy knows how to blow things up and make entertaining flicks
