After watching the gameplay videos and reading this thread, it looks like I will be pulling the trigger and buying this game ... does it matter if I buy a used or a new copy? Wasn't sure if there is some exclusive DLC code sheet that comes with the new game or anything like that.

Nahh, luckily Nintendo doesn't work that way....yet. As far as I know the only DLC are the data packs that help your load/run faster, and they are free from the Nintendo e-shop.

I've only had a chance to play a little bit of it so far (about 5 hours or so) due to my work schedule, but it's truly an amazing game! Really enjoy the combat system, far more than I thought I would have. Even early on, you can tell there's a LOT to explore in the game so this isn't a game that you finish in a few days and that's it. You won't be bored!
