It's licensed and not through some TT model, so I bet it is region locked.

Exactly what I was thinking, probably locked. Aren't most of the other Umbrella releases locked?

I haven't gone over every title in detail, but just looking at their releases here on BD.com I'd say they're at least 50/50 free/locked.

I have no doubt that Sony would demand a region lock in this case since Umbrella has only licensed the movie for Australia.

Having said that, though, they may sneakily make it region free, but they would not be able to actually announce it since Sony wouldn't be pleased if they found out. Just like Via Vision's Psycho set was all region free, including the DVDs. They did that for international sales and to be fair to fans, but for all intents and purposes they need to act like it's region locked to please distributors.

I have the TT release, but if this is region free, I'm interested.

I've just been looking on the Umbrella website, but can't seem to find a preorder for NOTLD. Really want to get an order in early for this one. I've tried Ezy,but it won't allow me to add UK as a shipping address 😣

Is the 68 disc in the JB exclusive limited edition, identical in terms of P/AQ to the one that is already released?

I just ordered the limited edition. This is such a cool release. I own the Japanese release of the original and the TT release of the remake. I'll likely keep them, but this will be a nice addition.

Mate, glad you dig it - this one nearly killed me (mainly due to nerves, as I worship the ground Romero walks on), but it's my fave cover of the ones I've done so far.
