Beautiful film, for sure i'm going to buy this one in the future. Redmayne presented us with another excellent job, for sure one of the best actor of our generation.

The book was better (naturally), but I thought this was a beautifully rendered retelling of it -- worth seeing for Redmayne and Vikander alone. I know the studio wanted to secure her an Oscar nomination by putting Vikander in the Best Supporting Actress category, but this is nothing short of a lead role.

I was interested in this up until I saw the trailer and to me, it looked very Oscar-baity. Perhaps I might give it a go on video.

Has anyone else noticed that on the back, it states "Digital HD with UltraViolet Anywhere" OR "Watch on iTunes."

Universal Studios were known to always include both UV and iTunes as they used to state "Also includes Watch on iTunes." Is Universal Studios starting the 20th Century Fox route with one redemption of either UV or iTunes as well? I like redeeming for both UV and iTunes which gives a lot of flexibility. Going to be some change having to pick one over the other if this becomes the new trend

The code for Danish Girl has been floating around some forums and trading groups. I can confirm that it is still dual redemption: you get UltraViolet and iTunes.

Do you have any links as proof that indeed both UV and iTunes are redeemable? Just curious why Universal would choose to change the wording to "OR" on the back all of a sudden.

No, I can't give you any links. But I can tell you that I obtained a code for The Danish Girl and redeemed it on iTunes and UV. Both portions of the code are being sold on other forums/sites. So hopefully that's proof enough.

As to why they changed the wording to say "OR" -- your guess is as good as mine. The code sheet also says iTunes OR UV:

I wasn't doubting you whatsoever and didn't mean to sound doubtful, but just wanted to see others reporting the same thing since that would rule out of this being a rare occurrence IF it was intended to be for one or the other. I loved Redmayne particular in the latter half of the film, but Vikander steals the show. Wonderful performance. Great production values on this film too. May not pick it up day one, but eventually. March is a big month...

Found a copy on Amazon for $14.98 after shipping
It said never played excellent condition.
For that price is it worth a blind buy or not

This is a risky blind buy for me, but I pulled the trigger anyway when I saw it at the Target down the street earlier today. I'm fully supportive of Alicia Vikander's career.

I did the same thing and loved it! I highly recommend it as a very different period piece than usual. I love Tom Hooper's visual style and found it compelling with the story!! Wonderful film!! Highly recommend it! 7.9/10 stars!

Yes, its worth. I didn't bought my copy yet, I'll wait till it gets released in my country and the price drops. But it completely worth every cent you spend on it.
