I thought this was one of the best (top 5) releases of 2013. Unfortunately the crowdfunding attempt for the Region 1 release did not meet the funding requirements. If there was ever a travesty in the film world it was that right there... This film has releases all over the world, but not here. None of the foreign releases have English subtitles though.

The only way you can get this (that I know of) is to order from Iceland at the link above but... I'm closer to Iceland than anyone in the left half of the country and the total still comes to almost $50 for the order.

I don't know why Criterion, Drafthouse, Olive, etc. etc. haven't picked this up. It really is high quality stuff and mayhaps the best METAL film ever made.

If anyone knows where else to get this please post the link here. It probably wouldn't hurt to send the director a message through Facebook to get more details on what's going to happen. (I don't have Facebook.) The official site appears dead which isn't a good sign either.

Perhaps we could place a mass order for 10-20 copies and shipping would be cheaper...or...more.

What a shame. This movie deserves an affordable, swank, region A friendly release.

I've seen a trailer and it looks like something I would enjoy watching.

Maybe Arrow can take a crack at it as a follow-up to their Lords of Chaos blu-ray.
