Apocalypse now redux vs full disclosure question.

I see the review for apocalypse now full disclosure edition on blu ray and they rated it really high.


It says it has the original edition and redux, does that mean it is the exact same versions already on blu ray? I see a single disc version that has the original movie and redux in it. Or have those movies been remastered for the full disclosure edition? Im confused.

If saw the redux/original version at a local used movie store and it was pretty cheap, if its the same exact thing as whats in the full disclosure Ill get it because Im not interested in the bonus material so much. But if the full disclosure somehow has better picture and audio then Ill get it.

Can someone explain this one to me please?

The Full Disclosure Edition includes the excellent Hearts of Darkness documentary.

Same movie disc in each package, FD just has the doc (separate disc) and booklet.

I believe that the difference is that the Full Disclosure edition has another disc,
which contains the amazing Hearts of Darkness Documentary, that alone is worth the price of admission. The version I own of the Full Disclosure is a three disc set.

If you really hate extras, the steelbook has only the movie(s) disc in it. Of course it costs more than the standard 2-disc version online. I had to have the 3 disc and only slightly regret paying a few bucks too much as it was getting hard to find in stores around me, so I worried it was gonna go OOP.
