Default LN-T4065F Ghosting problem!

I've had my LNT4065F since Christmas, i tried a bunch of different settings but i can't get rid of the Ghosting problem. (Not getting any while gaming on my PS3...)

I watched Ironman on Blu-Ray tonight, it was full of Ghosting, it's crazy like even the smallest movements! I'm quite upset about this... It seems i was better off with my 100$ TV...

Is there a way to reduce ghosting? Better quality HDMI? A special setup option?

I understand i get some ghosting while watching HD content from my provider.. since the signal is weak and 1080i... but c'mon.. not Ironman!!!

I tried to Google it, but it seems everywhere they rate the TV 5/5 and nobody seems to be getting this problem...

Is it true that if your Samsung TV breaks for a third time, you can ask them to get a new one... heard that from my Mom who heard it from somewhere...

Wish i bought a Plasma.... God i wish!

Straight from Samsungs FAQs on their website.

Ghosting When You Are Using Your LCD TV Strictly As A TV
If your new, LN-T series LCD TV is ghosting, most likely you have the Digital NR (Noise Reduction) function on. To alleviate the ghosting, try turning the Digital NR function off.

To turn the Digital NR function off, follow these steps:

Press the Menu button. The Main menu appears.
Press the Enter button to select Picture. The Picture menu appears.
Use the Up or Down arrow button to highlight Digital NR.
Press the Enter button to select Digital NR.
Use the Up or Down arrow button to highlight Off, and then press the Enter button.
Press the Exit button to exit.

Note: On rare occasions, ghosting is caused by the video card. If none of the conditions above match your situation, try attaching your LCD TV to a PC with a different video card to see if that ends the ghosting.

In re-reading my post it sounds as if they are actually referring to having a PC hooked up to your TV monitor, so I don't think it actually applies.

These should be the same pretty much since our TV's are really similar. I find that I get the best natural picture this way.

Initial Settings:
Mode Movie
Contrast 80
Brightness 50
Sharpness 20
Color 45
Tint G51/R49
Backlight 4
Color Tone Warm2
DNR Auto

Detailed Settings:
Black Adjust Off
Dynamic Contrast Off
Gamma 0
Color Space Wide
White Balance Default
My Color Control Default
Edge Enhancement Off
xvYCC ON

Wow that's dark, i have a lot of light in my room, so when the image is dark it's harder to see.

I'll tweak the image some more, thx for the info!

If its to dark you can turn your Dynamic Contrast to Low, and that will give you a little more brightness you might need, otherwise you can turn the backlight up to 5. I like to have my setting for night use and watching blu-rays, and when compared to a plasma tv, these settings are prolly as close as they will get. Also, my living room is pretty bright and I haven't had any issue with PQ in dark scenes.

It will take a minute to get used to these settings.

you can bump up the backlight and contrast settings to your liking. it shouldn't affect your image quality too much.

yes, DNR should be off!

edit: also, you should try setting sharpness at '0' and work your way up. i wouldn't go past 20 though.
you can also try setting your dynamic contrast to 'low'; anything above that will cause too much black crush.
