I'm thinking a end of June/early July release. Since it was released at the beginning of March, that would put it out about four months later which would be longer than The Good Dinosaur took, and around Star Wars: The Force Awakens' release schedule.

Disney has lately avoided releasing new movies on BD during the June/July timeframe for the last two years, even holding back Cinderella's release in the US till September. Although this year could be different, with three theatrical animation releases this year.

I LOVED IT!

Saw it yesterday and it was SO GOOD.

Here's hoping that we'll get a 3D blu.

I wasn't thinking about that, but six months still seems like a long time, especially when they'll also have The Jungle Book, Alice Through the Looking Glass, and Captain America: Civil War all coming out around the August/September/October period, with Finding Dory just around the corner too.

I'll wait to see store exclusives, will be interesting if they follow through with a 3D release.

Anyone who is optioning a blind buy, it's a must own Disney film that has them back on the right track.

Too late for me, I already got those from Europe. But I pre-ordered Zootopia just to send them the message.

It will be interesting to see how the BD releases are handled worldwide, as many countries have a different animal as a co-anchor.

http://nerdist.com/zootopia-differen...ent-countries/

Also, in the UK, the film and the city are called Zootropolis.

So when does zootopia end up on netflix. It should be included in the Netflix streaming deal anyway. Like do they get the movie the same day the blu ray comes out or is it the digital release or is their some number of weeks before or after the movies release.

If it doesnt get a 3d release (I really hope it does) and it doesn't have disc art even though I really liked the movie I will probably wait for a sale if its on netflix.

Netflix has mostly older Disney titles. No Frozen, Big Hero 6, Wreck It Ralph, Inside Out, etc..This will probably never be on there.

netflix made a deal so it gets the new release 2016 disney pixar marvel films in the premium slot starz or hbo used to get. Basically this will end up on netflix its just a matter of a few weeks before or after the blu ray. It made this deal about 3 years ago and now its finally going to see the benefits of it.
