Seen 5 of them and three of them made my list.

Haven't had the chance to catch up with Trainwreck and Turbo Kid yet, Cinderella just doesn't look interesting to me.

Ya, it's predictable as hell. It should be The Force Awakens though.

Charlotte Rampling deserved better from the Academy and now the blu-ray.com community.

Hey, you go back two or three years, a film like 45 Years wouldn't even get a look into the list. We're slowly improving.

Also, the film took so long to reach North America (Dec/Jan) and was only a limited release. So hopefully the film and Rampling's performance get more love on here once it comes out on blu-ray and digital HD.

I'm tempted to import the UK blu but I think this is going to end up with a Criterion release.

How is Dope this low on the list?

I already see where this is headed.

Probably just not many people saw it, that's all.

But, they saw Turbo Kid? I don't even know what that is.

Dope is on Netflix, and was $6.96 at Walmart. I thought it was one of the more popular titles of last year.

I don't recall it ever being particularly well-known. I saw it high up on a few people's lists, which is why I think it was probably just not seen by many people but those who saw it mostly liked it a lot. I mean Cinderella was super popular and that got a lower rank than it.

But, Cinderella also wasn't very good.

As long as Carol makes the Top 15, and Mad Max: Fury Road edges out The Revenant and Star Wars, then I will not have any major problems with this list.

EDIT: Go watch Dope! This has been a public service announcement.

Which is why despite it being very popular at the box office and on blu-ray it got such a low place.

I'm not going back and forth over whether Cinderella should be on this list. It's beneath me.

I'm more disappointed that Furious 7 is so high on the list. It was the second worst film of the year, just ahead of fifty shades.

Dope was #55 on my list

Didn't care for it and thought it was pretty half baked, didactic nonsense.

It's decent for the first half hour but as soon as the drug stuff comes into play it becomes this dopey drug comedy/social commentary film and neither aspects worked for me at all. The sequence with the brother and sister took up way too much time and was completely unfunny. Zoe Kravitz gave a terrible performance as usual and her subplot was so pointless. Most of the characters were annoying. And could that harvard letter scene be any more heavy handed? *cringe*

I'll take a beautifully shot and elegant re-telling of Cinderella with the delightfully wicked Cate Blanchett over Dope any day.
