Ya, it's predictable as hell. It should be The Force Awakens though.

I don't recall it ever being particularly well-known. I saw it high up on a few people's lists, which is why I think it was probably just not seen by many people but those who saw it mostly liked it a lot. I mean Cinderella was super popular and that got a lower rank than it.

![]() As long as Carol makes the Top 15, and Mad Max: Fury Road edges out The Revenant and Star Wars, then I will not have any major problems with this list. EDIT: Go watch Dope! This has been a public service announcement. Last edited by JWFORD; 03-08-2016 at 11:34 AM. |

Dope was #55 on my list
![]() Didn't care for it and thought it was pretty half baked, didactic nonsense. It's decent for the first half hour but as soon as the drug stuff comes into play it becomes this dopey drug comedy/social commentary film and neither aspects worked for me at all. The sequence with the brother and sister took up way too much time and was completely unfunny. Zoe Kravitz gave a terrible performance as usual and her subplot was so pointless. Most of the characters were annoying. And could that harvard letter scene be any more heavy handed? *cringe* I'll take a beautifully shot and elegant re-telling of Cinderella with the delightfully wicked Cate Blanchett over Dope any day. ![]() Last edited by spanky87; 03-08-2016 at 12:07 PM. |
