Default BD Live

Is this BD LIVE all its cracked up to be, or is just gonna be one of those things you use once or twice and never use again. Is it really worth the extra money and what point does it serve anyway??

if you got a BD player that you are happy with, its nothing to go and spend a couple hundred on an upgrade for.

Right now there's absolutely nothing of interest... unless a strange and hard to control version of blackjack really interests you.

That said, there's a lot of potential for the future if studios choose to take advantage of it. The upcoming "Sleeping Beauty" looks like it could be the first to have major BD-Live features... I guess we'll know Tuesday.

It seems like a waste of money to me. I am more than happy with my 1.1 player.

Like many I have not been impressed with current BD-Live content.

However, unlike many, I do have high expectations that BD-Live will eventually offer some very, very, very, VERY, creative interactive elements to add to the enhancements of the film experience.

While I don't have high expectations as you, I do think that there is a lot of potential with BD-Live to do some very, VERY, creative features, as you said.

One thing that worries me though is thast studios have little incentive to make all these great extras and BD-Live features since they have already gotten our money. I wonder if, in the future, you'll have to pay more to get the extra features / specials.

Question:
Since 1.1 was supposed to be the "final" version and 2.0 "optional", why isn't 2.0 content available for download to SD cards for 1.1 players?
