Damn..no confirmation here. They usually do a great job of getting stuff to me by release date, but I'm guessing it's going to be later in the week since it's still not even showing that it's being prepared. Did you pay extra for shipping?

My Walmart had the regular version out this morning, so I grabbed it:

I'm not gonna open it yet, because I may try for the Target exclusive version and return this one, but then again, I may just keep this one and pass on the Target one. Haven't decided, but if I can't get the Target one, at least I have this as a fallback.

No I didn't don't even know they lowered the price, I paid with PayPal if that matters.

Apparently the confusion stemmed from the advertised region code in the Amazon.co.uk's GoT S5 page.

There's no Way they would have switched all HBO/WB releases are region free. Never trust what Amazon says about region codes.

Does anyone have a detailed breakdown of the retail exclusives for this set? I'm aware that Best Buy has the House covers, and Target has a bonus disc of some sort, but beyond that I'm not too knowledgeable.

Got my Best Buy set in today. Bolton house sigil. I like the Targaryen one better, but I already have the previous Targaryen slip so, opted for one different. I like it, but I wish they would've kept the look of the previous seasons.

Nice! Do the slips still have the texture/feel as the previous BB ones? Are the spines the same tan color?

I checked all 3 WMs nearby and struck out at each one.

Two of them had the DVD version, and one of them had the price stickers for both versions, but neither one was actually put out.

No, the previous ones have that matte finish and this one is definitely shiny.

My Bolton slip edition came in today as well. Seems like they want the slips to match the color scheme of the regular edition.
