Not much info out there on this yet...

Can't wait to see this... This duo will one day get the recognition they deserve in the halls of Great Filmmaker Valhalla. I can't think of many new films from the last 15 years that have re-ignited my interest in film or inspired me more than their last two. I probably wouldn't even be posting here if I hadn't seen them. If you hate these guys or just don't get it it only means you aren't worthy. Many people are not worthy so you won't get too lonely over there. Last edited by Nuck Horris; 07-21-2017 at 01:26 AM. |

I saw this at a film festival a couple of months ago and was blown away by it. I know Kino is releasing it here, but a physical release doesn't look likely until the end of the year. Does anyone know of any non-US blu-ray or 4k releases coming? I found a DVD on amazon.fr coming in March, that's it.

If you live in New York, NY they have a cool thing going on at Quad Cinema:

The following films will be showing: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sombre and Road to Salina aren't pictured, no physical release. Must be nice to have a real cinema in the area... |

Need to see this already. The Strange Color Of Your Body's Tears was.....interesting. Extremely exhausting, but worthwhile.
Also, the Quad sounds so cool. If i end up moving to NYC within the next year (which I'm leaning towards), I'll be watching stuff there for sure. |

Tonight was the second time I saw this after it's AFI Fest premiere last November and it's just as gorgeous, grotesque and demented as I remember it being then. Definitely want to read the source novel now to see if it's just as mad. Also, credit must be given to Bruno Forzani and Hélène Cattet for finding a more inspired use of "The Sunny Road to Salina" than Quentin Tarantino did.
