It's okay because 99.9% of people who buy bluray aren't anal and couldn't care less.

I used to remove them all, but now I keep them because I'm tired to remove all the residual glue. If nothing appears on the spine, I'm OK now!

I once found some kind of electronic theft-protection sticker on the inside of a DVD case. I tried to get it off cleanly with my fingernails.
The results... weren't pretty. ![]() |

WD-40 will rid of the glue on box. Let it soak for a bit, wipe off and then let it air out for a bit. Unless you enjoy the smell of an auto garage, then put the movie back on shelf with the others immediately.

Think of it from the stickers point of view. She's all happy that she gets to be at such an esteemed position on the Blu-ray case, and then you, a monster with nails clawing and scratching at her, mutilating her beautiful edges and leaving her distraught and unwanted.
You should be ashamed. So ashamed. |

Those stickers shown in the OP are the worst in terms of work it takes to get rid of. For those I just swap cases, it's cheaper and easier when you add up the amount of Goo-Gone, time and effort it takes to get them completely off IMO.

The only sticker I remove is the white price sticker on the upper corner of the slipcover and it always comes off with little effort and no residue. I consider all other stickers, security strips, promos, inserts etc as part of the original contents and leave them alone.

I grabbed this, and it's a heck of a lot better than the spray type goo gone. This is like a marker where you can put the stuff right where you need it, and not worry about spraying half the case by accident.
