Glenn. Negan's line was exactly the same as the comic.

If they ruin an iconic moment like this, and change Glenn's fate to a character that doesn't matter like Abraham or Eugene....I am probably done watching the show and will stick with the comics.

The episodes and season(s) which revolved around the Governor as the main villain are the still the best this show has ever seen IMO

also this will likely be $34.99 on release day, hopefully bestbuy has an exclusive lenticular slip

But Scott Gimple has said that they took a "sharp left turn" from the comics in terms of Negan's entrance. Killing off Glenn isn't indicative of taking that turn. I'm not sure who it is but I wouldn't rule out Rick who's killing would be the epitome of taking that sharp left turn.

No, I think Rick and Carl are safe.

I personally think it's too early for anything Lucille, but you never know.

Well I was a fan for Seasons 1 and 2, and I still have enjoyed it since then, but more casually, as the direction of the story and the writing have stumbled and become generally rote. Season 5 would probably follow, I was interested for the most part, and then Season 3, which had its strong points but also many disappointments (Governor, Andrea, Michonne, Woodbury; though Michonne has gotten better since). Seasons 4 and 6 are the weakest IMO. S4 felt like two separate halves and, aside from the Governor's arc and "The Grove," the infection and split group/Terminus storylines were not compelling at all. This season just felt like we've seen it all before, rinse and repeat. The finale didn't need to be 90 minutes and the cliffhanger took the wind out of its sails, depriving us of this show's version of "The Red Wedding," but before that, the last 15 minutes were some of the most heart-pounding and intense of the entire series, JDM was the perfect choice for Negan, exactly as I pictured him (and I haven't read the comic). I have many problems with the series, but I still look forward to it every Sunday night as a comfortable routine to fall into. I feel like there's positives every so often that are worth it, I've also watched it this long, I might as well continue. Not to mention, the story has just gotten really interesting, I'm genuinely excited to see how Rick and co. make it under the rule of Negan and the Saviors. Right now, they are pretty much f*cked. Hopefully Season 7 will be one of the best.

Haven't bought a season since the 3rd but holy hell season 6 may have been the best. May have to purchase this when it comes out.

I thought the season itself was ok, it had a couple of amazing episodes in it that actually rekindled my waning interest in the show.

However the finale I found to be completely preposterous. Actually, the endings to both Fear the Walking dead and Season 6 were both equally terrible.

I though Fear just had really poor writing in general, it wasn't just the finale, but most of the episodes were poorly conceived and I wasn't a fan of the characters they created for the spinoff. Season 6 had it's up's and downs, but I was OK with the direction of the writing. However that last episode was just too much, the whole thing was quite preposterous. I'm not into comics, and TWD is no exception, so I had no idea who Negan was and had no anticipation like some fans might have. New villains are great (and expected), but I'm not liking these stunts they are pulling for TV. Way too transparent, and that last episode was just laughably poor IMO.

Since Negan says if anyone moves, cut the boy's other eye out and feed it to his dad, that would suggest they are not in the line of fire.
I have vowed that if it's a secondary character I will quit watching. Aaron would do that, not sure if Eugene would. I expect Glenn or Abraham, but feel cheated by the finale. I'll give the season a second try, and probably on blu since cussing can make or break a character. I mean pee pee pants? Really? He's a bad-ass with a comically dirty mouth, not a little kid.

I'm a fan that's been with the show for the duration, and yeah, that ending was just insulting- but they made it clear enough that Rick and Carl were safe. After the build-up, this actually for the first time put me in the head-space of 'maybe I don't care who he killed.' Which sucks because up till four episodes ago I was ready to call this my favorite season so far. They just made a LOT of wrong-headed decisions since then. I'll come back for season 7, but I swear if it was Aaron or Rosita then the shark will have been jumped- and it remains to be seen if last night's ep was the shark.

Thumbs down

I have all the previous SE statue sets. But shelling out for this piss-poor season will be a real chore. Crap writing, the fake Glenn death, and that anticlimactic cop-out cliffhanger just sunk it for me. In light of all that, I don't give a damn about some extra F-bombs. Is that supposed to excite us? Are we twelve?

I'm all in if Best Buy has a exclusive lenticular cover. I have 1-5 so why not buy this one. I didn't mind this season, but I just hate waiting week after week to see a new episode.

I stand corrected. I haven't got that far in the comics yet, but from all I've heard and read about Negan, I never thought that would be a line straight from the books. I figured "pissing you pants" or "pissy pants" at weakest.

I'm guessing if McFarlane Toys is doing another SE, it will be revealed in July at SDCC?
