Default Help spot a fake twilight time

Can someone help me determine if these are fake? At a convention and seeing the several oop twilight time titles for 15 each. The printing on the back looks a little sketchy maybe but I've never see these before in person.

I didn't even know they had bootleg Twilight Time BDs out there. Is there a booklet in any of them?

They were sealed. I was just nervous cause a lot of the DVDs they guy had looked to be made in demand or ripoffs. The printing on the back looks a little low quality too. Do you have any of these movies? I'd like to compare.

I can't speak for the Captain America, but the TT titles look fine. Honestly, those 3 are really not 'high demand' TT titles though. What was the price?

For $10 each they are a good deal. Those titles were $20 each during one of their past sales, so they are not a steal @ $15. Basically, if you like the films, buy them, but if you think you can make money off them, probably not @ $15 each.

The shrink-wrap on all of them definitely look suspicious - way too loose and warbly. TT's shrinkwraps are always crisp and tight. Not saying they are boots for sure, but I wouldn't risk it.

I doubt they are bootlegs but they are probably used and re-shrinkwrapped.

I don't own any of the titles, but it would help if someone that did could chime in on the types of cases these are packaged in. It appears that the cases are different, so if someone could confirm that the style of case is correct that would lend some credibility to their legitimacy.

Philadelphia is in a standard, non-eco Elite blu-ray case.

My personal opinion is that they are boots, why would they have copies like them giving them away like candy practically. Usually conventions are filled with boots if your prefer the real deal and fight against piracy buy the real discs.

did you ask the seller? flea markets around here sell all kinds of counterfeit merchandise, but nearly all of them are honest about it.

Buy one and open it there. Can you tell the difference between a BD and a BD-R?

Why would anybody bootleg Summer Lovers, though? Or In Like Flint? Seems like bootleggers would be smart enough to actually copy films that will sell to the masses. I doubt most under-40s haven't even heard of either of those.

This is my guess as well. Somewhere down the line they were probably either sold in desperation, or stolen and sold to get down to that price. I guess they could've been sold to a used store who ended up marking them way down so someone else can make some profit at $10-15 on something that has never been less than $20 new. Plus it is ones that aren't in high demand and the sellers asking price reflects that. They might have new cases, definitely have new shrinkwrap, but are legit except for a down the line possibility of being stolen. Now if it was The Blob and Night of the Living Dead remakes, I'd guess bootlegs in a second.
