I like it....was hoping for something like this:



but this also has potential. Just having it called "Hardcore" is a little funny.

Saw this in the theater last night. Had never heard of it before. Hadn't watched the trailer or anything. The action sequences were really cool (AKA 80+% of the movie) but the middle felt like they were just dragging it out (singing scene, anyone...?). It is very unique though. Not much of a story but fun to watch.

I'd be interested in a steelbook for it but I am not diggin the artwork and as Will above me said, titled as just Hardcore is odd. I will pass on this one.

Hardcore is the original intended title, it was changed in some markets because it's already in use by another film. I find the Hardcore Henry title to be a little cheesy, but I guess it fits with this kind of movie.

That's right, it was only known as "Hardcore" when it premiered last year at the Toronto International Film Festival

Anyone know if this is region B only? It's on sale.....not much of a sale.....and it doesn't state anywhere on the Amazon.de site and the listing on this site says it's A and B but I see a lot of wrong info sometimes so dunno if I can trust it.

I do not own the steelbook, but I do own the digibook (which includes soundtrack). Discs should be the same.

Two sites, that I normally trust, say it's region B-locked.

Some jokers submit region A,B sometimes when their player specific remote trick works, but this one doesn't seem to be like that. Weird.
Although granted, for those a special option should be available like region A-locked, but with exception. The current system isn't that well thought through. There are for example also collections, where only 1 movie is region-locked, but the others aren't. How do I submit that? locked is incorrect and region-free is also incorrect. :/

Thanks guys. I just wish there was a better steelbook version of this out there. I quit buying regular blu rays and only buy 3D blu's anymore unless it's a movie I really liked and has a steelbook.

Actually there is.



It's also from Germany, but retailer exclusive ("Müller"). Müller has quite a few retail stores, there is also a shop on the internet, but they only ship to their own stores.

Wanted to add that steelbook on here, but had no time yet. Surprising that it wasn't already added.

And there is of course the lovely Digibook - also from Germany.

(all the logo, age rating and other crap is on a leaflet, the digibook itself is just the artwork.

I know this is a necro post but it can't be overstated how awesome this Dolby Atmos audio track is! It is worth importing just for this!
