A little bit of trivia, the guy who plays harmonica through the letterbox when trying to get a place in the band during the auditions is Lance Daly, who went on to direct his own movies, 'Kisses' being the best and most well known.

Yes, but it's now mostly called RLJ Entertainment (Robert L. Johnson bought the company and named it after himself, kind of like when he owned the now-Charlotte Hornets).
