Sony BDP S-3700 Loud Noise - Blu-ray Forum

I have a Sony BDP-S3700 and the fan is loud (in my opinion) when playing discs. There are also little "creaking" noises that I can hear when the disc is spinning. Is this normal for Blu-ray players? Are there any Blu-ray players that are virtually noiseless when playing discs? Thanks!

At this point not many options left for high end consumer pieces. Oppo units are your best bet at this point.
