Heard nothing but great things but the cast doesn't excite me and I didn't like the songs, so I'm waiting for Netflix (which has increasingly become what I do these days ).

Surprisingly very good movie, I wasn't expecting much but it's brilliantly acted and very emotional. Ending is a little abrupt and music isn't very memorable, but otherwise excellent.

Rajkapoor - where do u get your blurays from? You seem to be posting screenshots even before NJMTV ships out my copies? I kind-of recall someone saying bollywoodbluraydvd.com ships out faster to US than any one inside the U.S.? Is that right?

This film has got quite the gamut of colors - Very warm colorful visuals. And no I dont mean your rohit shetty bleeding colors. Kapoor & sons has got the weather and landscape beautifully captured.

The Blu ray deserves a watch just for the rainbow colors this film if so full of in 1080p Full HD. Besides the movie is quite a good emotional watch is a plus. I was absolutely surprised in how the key scene played out in 2nd half when all hell breaks loose and literally every family member is a nightmare for another - That sequence is to die for as a great piece of cinema - brilliantly written, enacted, and directed.

Yea. I've found that top notch cinema ends up doing totally unexpected things. It takes you one way then leads you another.

Also, in the theater where I watched the movie, everything had a green and magenta push. I think their colors were not properly calibrated, because the blu-ray screenshots look much better, but then again the color gamut on the blu-ray is probably only sRGB whereas the theater had to target DCI P3.

I get my Blu-rays from a local video store whose owner picks them up from NJMTV. I don't think anybody can get Indian BDs here faster than NJMTV. I have never ordered from bollywoodbluraydvd though.

There in lies the catch my friend. I tried ordering Salaa Khadoos from this site today and the bluray cost was $18+ and the shipping cost another $18!! Pretty hefty price tag there for all the great service and expedited delivery Bollywood Karim's claiming. I guess you get what you pay for. Bollywood Karim - are you paying this premium for all your purchases or is there a workaround?

Tried my disc yesterday, incorrect colour space IMHO so set colour space to RGB PC if you can.

i think u r mistaken. For masaan i agree with you but Kapoor and sons BD did not have color space issue at all. I am not sure what is making u come to that conclusion. Infact it was one of the best BDs this year for me along with the movie itself. Loved it.
