Thanks! I'd buy a region free OPPO player, but since I don't want to go through that hassle for it, I'll just buy the US bluray then, even though it doesn't have the features this one has and doesn't have as good a quality.

Are you absolutely sure about that? Have you seen any reviews comparing both releases ? I'd like to know for sure before ordering.

As this has just dropped in price I'm considering a purchase but as I currently own the Twilight Time release can anyone chime in on the transfer of this vs the TT release.

Frustratingly there isn't one on Caps-A-Holic

It's the same master, so detail will be the same, but supposedly Second Sight did some cleanup so the print doesn't look as dirty. The TT one has a lot of dirt and specks. I bit on the price drop as well.

Been added to the 3 for £20/5 for £30 at HMV, along with State of Grace and Colors. I already have two of them but may get Colors (with a couple of other titles). Bargains though! I wonder if they'll add any more Second Sight titles?

By "clean up" do you mean DNR & EE?

No, I mean dirt on the print that was scanned. You can't "clean up" DNR and EE, you just don't use it to begin with.

Sorry, should have made myself more clear. I meant had these been used to clean up the image.

I have both copies and there's virtually no difference in them. The dirt on the TT is still on the SS. There might be a *little* bit of dirt reduction, where it might not be as prominent, but I didn't see much difference between the two. I will keep both, because I believe the extras are different at least. It's a shame it wasn't cleaned up somewhat, because otherwise it looks pretty good.

This seems to be selling out?! Temporarily out of stock on Amazon, couldn't even see it on HMV online/Zavvi!

Didn't see it in HMV in Oxford St or in Harlow over the last two weeks. Didn't check Fopp in Covent Garden, though.

Just bought a copy for £9.26 on Amazon marketplace - love this film: seems a shame to miss out on it

Yeah looking oop. Likely that it'll reissue via new label Indicator, packed with extras. Just guessing as its a TT title in the States and these guys seem to have struck a deal. It looks like a title that would fall into their list comfortably.

Think it's a coincidence they're releasing a lot of TT titles - just Sony catalogue at the minute. This is with MGM.

Could just be a second print-run? I doubt it would go OOP so fast as it was only released a year ago.

Oh ok. I have known of a few titles just randomly go oop, even though they're quite recent releases (well within a year). In fact Creepshow is one and that's SS title as well.

Maybe they don't announce as limited releases but they press a low level amount and only reprint if it's a fast seller or popular enough while they still have the rights?
