Awesome news! But it's a shame that Universal didn't do a much more better edition then this considering Williams is no longer with us.

Nice, will definitely pick this up,

It got slated for it's over sentimentality, Personally thought it was a really good flick.

A heartfelt, funny, emotionally charged drama. Nobody could touch Robin in these roles.

That's Touchstone under Disney. Not to be pessimistic but I don't think they'll ever release it. Same thing with The Village

Didn't sound like it in this article (http://www.chasingthefrog.com/reelfaces/patchadams.php), but he certainly seems to have liked Williams' performance stating "I think Robin himself is compassion, generosity and funny. I like to think that that's who I am, and so I think he was the only actor I wanted to play me, and I think he did a fabulous job"

Man, that late 90s period of Robin Williams schmaltz! Patch Adams, Jacob the Liar and Bicentennial Man, that is a line up that could give a an elephant diabetes.

Haven't seen this in 10+ years. Interested to revisit it again, especially considering much of it was filmed just a few miles down the road from me.
