For those who are interested it looks like we are getting the Digibook version as well according to JB Hifi's website. It's a 64 page book and looks to contain both the 3D version and the Ultimate cut of the 2D version and also has a lenticular 3D cover. Release date is 20th July. So awesome!

Quite 'cheap' when it comes to 3D for a new release - given the prices that Disney titles are released at.

Yeah, we could be getting a slightly different version than the US Target one I think. We don't really get DVD's with our Blu-ray's anymore so I think instead of the DVD we'll get the 3D Blu-ray, 2D Bluray and UV. At least that's what JB and Sanity have it listed as. If that's the case, we win because 3D Bluray beats DVD any day!

Not sure if that is only for the UHD/Blu-ray combo, as the 2 disc Blu-ray edition description still states it includes both cuts.

But regular BD release is including both cuts isn't it. Like the Digibook edition, it has both cuts on 2K BDs.

The Blu-Ray version is 2 discs: Extended version on one disc, Theatrical on the other. The 4K release is also 2 discs with the Extended version on the 4K disc and the Theatrical version on a Blu-Ray. There is no 4K version of the Theatrical version.

And with regards to the 3D Digibook version, the 3D disc will be the theatrical version and the 2D disc will be the Ultimate cut.

Aussie classification comparison is below.

The extended version was rated M in Australia, same as the theatrical version, with extra "course language" consumer advice. In the US it received a soft R.

I'm not sure but I'll guess it's to update the information. Sanity have changed their page now which shows the Ultimate Digibook edition only containing the 2D version. While the 3D version contains both the 3D and 2D Ultimate Cut.

I thought it was too good to be true for the Digibook to have the 3D version...looks like I'll have to get both now.

The Sanity price for the 3D + Ultimate Edition is good though at $29.99.
