Are these gonna be the "face" ones all over again? I still only have both parts of 7 on BD, and none of them in Steelbook, so if the price and art are right I'll consider these.

I'm intrigued. It'd be nice to have some different artwork rather than the faces, though. And no upside down spines, lol.

Just an FYI if you do decide to order these... check the 2nd shipping method which is supposed to be more expedited. It was cheaper for me to choose that instead of their standard shipping when ordering all 8

It's possible these will drop, though. The prices on Amazon.de and Amazon.fr tend to fluctuate.

Whoa, it looks like it comes with the exclusive discs from each of the Ultimate editions (later included in the Wizards and Hogwarts Collections). It would be awesome if the artwork matched the UE releases.

Here's what should be on the bonus discs of each of the Steelbooks. There is no more in-depth documentary series for HP than these from what I've read.

Year 1: Creating the World of Harry Potter Part 1: The Magic Begins (HD, 63 minutes)
Year 2: Creating the World of Harry Potter, Part 2: Characters (HD, 80 minutes)
Year 3: Creating the World of Harry Potter Part 3: Creatures (HD, 63 minutes)
Year 4: Creating the World of Harry Potter Part 4: Sound & Music (HD, 54 minutes)
Year 5: Creating the World of Harry Potter Part 5: Evolution (HD, 57 minutes)
Year 6: Creating the World of Harry Potter Part 6: Magical Effects (HD, 64 minutes)
Year 7.1: Creating the World of Harry Potter, Part 7: Story (HD, 47 minutes)
Year 7.2:Creating the World of Harry Potter, Part 8: Growing Up (HD, 50 minutes)

They might start at that price but will surely be available in multi-buys within a couple of months after the release though.
It's Warner, all their new steelbook releases are quickly available in multi-buy offers.

Very likely they'll be identical to the UK ones, which as I hoped, do kind of have that Ultimate edition look to them

Most of the recent French WB steels have had their spines correctly.

Artwork updates. Hope they change to the UK versions. Can't imagine them putting out 2 different sets around the same time...

The imagery is AWESOME, but the French writing kills it for me.

WOW. I love those and I love the UK ones. I would buy both if they're both available in English writing.
