Default Large Media Tower Shelf- holds 630 blurays - $43.19 or less

I know this is not a bluray deal, but I don't see where else to put a media tower. Feel free to move it.

http://www.target.com/p/atlantic-fur...k/-/A-13368303

This is $100 msrp at bestbuy, $72 at target.com, but has been $60 recently on sale. $43 is about the cheapest I have seen it, today only at target.com with their 40% off sale.

For comparison and reviews at:
bestbuy: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/atlantic...&skuId=9735365
amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Atlantic-3543...dp/B0058O8ES8/

Holds 630 blurays or 531 DVDs. 71" tall by 40" wide. Cases stick out a little from the shelf. Reviews say it is flimsy, but it is a good price if you want to fill a wall with a ton of blurays and not need to move it around.

Free shipping + 5% off with target card.

Good price but not as good as quality that they once had, I bought this without knowing the movies hand out a good bit. I disassembled it and returned it quicker than I put it together.

Any half way decent DIYer could strengthen that up for a few dollars. Without actually seeing it my first thought is a sheet of 1/4 inch hardboard/masonite to replace what appears to be basically cardboard on the back of it.

Yeah, this is probably one of the more flimsy options out there with thin mdf board, but you can't beat the price per bluray (6.8 cents per bluray) if you just need a cheap way to store your cases. This is 6 ft tall by 40 inches wide.

I've been using two of these since 2012. They may not the the nicest, but they work. Only complaint is the top shelf which can only hold CD cases.

Now I'm scouring target.com trying to find more 40% off shelving. I love my Atlantic media shelves, but I bought them many years ago. They were very expensive even though they were 75% off clearance at target. I suppose they don't always make them sturdy anymore. I guess I don't mind buying a shelf where the cases hang off the end. Some of the reviews are turning me off, but the price is so good.

Personally I always found it cheaper and better quality wood by getting the lumber and building shelves myself. That way I can make it however wide or tall, and big or small as I want.

Billy bookshelves from Ikea are by far the best affordable storage options I've found for media. Buy 2 extra shelves and the spacing lines up perfectly for Blu-rays.

Atlantic used to make an awesome media rack but discontinued it for some reason several years ago.

So true. I agree, but I don't think I have the skill or patience to build my own. I bought some that were hand made out of very very heavy sturdy wood at an auction. Three of them for $20 a piece and they are taller, wider, and have more depth than the shelf on this deal. They are too nice for blurays or DVDs, so I have heavier stuff on them right now. I still might bite on this deal because the price is so good for the size.

I usually like to get cheap book shelves because I can stack boxes on top of them all the way to the ceiling. With the shelf in this deal I suppose I can add one more layer of blurays on top, but that still leaves a lot of wasted space between the shelf and the ceiling. I've bought cheap shelves like this one from Walmart and Kmart and they had a lot of bad reviews about how flimsy they were. I still love them.

I'm just rambling on and on and on now. I guess I have a couple more hours to decide. Thank you regardless to the OP for this deal

Yeah, I really like Billys too. A lot of people are put off by the fact that the shelves are so much deeper than a BD case but I like having that extra space for bobbles and knick-knacks and whatnot.
